Welcome Message From Your Series Co-Hosts

David Crow: Welcome to The Future of Plant Medicine Summit series. So glad that you can join us and that you have registered. I'm your host, David Crow, and this is my co-host, Adriana Ayales.

Adriana Ayales:
Hi, everybody. Welcome to the series. This is so exciting. Know that by joining this incredible program, you are enhancing your toolkit by a hundredfold. You're going to be closely in touch with wonderful practitioners of all walks of life to enhance what you're already currently practicing. From herbalism, whether you're a practitioner or you're just enhancing your life tools, this is so essential for these times. Thank you so much for taking the time and being part of the plant medicine family.

David: Well, as you can see, we have quite an extensive lineup of, as always, top-level speakers, educators, clinicians, and researchers. I'll just mention a few people that I think are truly outstanding this time around. One of my favorite interviews which I conducted was with Dr. Sarita Shrestha, who is Nepal's first woman Ayurvedic MD, who is referred to as the Mother of Ayurveda in the West.

David: But the list is extensive and there are many names that you will recognize and many new people. Everybody of course, is talking about the benefits of plant medicine for our health, for treatment of conditions, for increasing our wellbeing, our immunity. Of course, we have the theme of Where is all of this going? With the demand for botanical medicine exploding and the link with environmental concerns and climate change, this is a very important series with a lot of valuable information. I'd just like to say thank you again for joining us. And Adriana, any final words?

Adriana: I'm so excited to see the world being so ready for a new system of medicine, an ancient system of medicine, and really gathering inspiration on how to tone up their mind, body, and soul with all these wonderful ancient practices. Thank you so much for being part of this big paradigm shift because here we are, together joining this good cause.
