Natasha Bony is the owner of Raine n River Apothecary in Jersey City, NJ. Opening her shop was a dream come true for Natasha, who has always had a profound interest in holistic health and wellness.

Born and raised in Trinidad, she was first introduced to what is known as “bush medicine” by her grandfather when she was a little girl. He taught her about the benefits of natural remedies, and she developed the utmost respect and reverence for nature and its capabilities.

Natasha brought that knowledge to the U.S. when she migrated to Brooklyn, New York as a young woman. She continued developing her skills as an herbalist while working at a health food store and wellness center, and studied to broaden her understanding of the priceless information her grandfather once shared with her. That knowledge paired with the teachings of her mentor at the center prepared Natasha to manifest owning her own shop.

Now, with more than a decade of experience, she can easily educate and guide clients toward botanicals for a variety of chronic health conditions. She formulates her own line of products geared towards the different body systems and has truly become the healer her grandfather taught her to be.

Raine n River Apothecary has become a home away from home for many in the trendy Arts District neighborhood of downtown Jersey City, NJ, and beyond. In addition to herbs, Natasha offers spiritual workshops and classes, tarot readings, crystals, candles, divination tools, and more.
